GIRL Pink™ Cleansing Lotion
The latest version of our
multipurpose
and
safe original remover/cleanser, used by many thousands of boaters and
householders since
January 1995. It has unparalleled versatility and can be used
either
with or without water dilution (depending upon purpose). Uniluted, the
product
removes
spills from sealants, resins and paint, in addition to grease and
grime.
Use on virtually any surface, including non-skid decks, clothing,
canvas
and carpet. It can even remove
completely
cured 5200™ sealant or dried nail polish from vinyl or cloth
upholstery, even carpet! Although
it removes oxidation
from
plastics including non-skid gelcoat, clear vinyl or rubber, it
is less potent than our Cleanser/Conditioners (SEA GLOW™, NEUTRAL CLEAR™)
or ELIXIR™
.
With water dilution it replaces all "boat soaps", bilge cleaners and
general
detergents.

(Previously "CRYSTAL") CLEAR Cleansing Lotion & Conditioner™
More potent
at oxidation
removal, it impregnates underlying surfaces with clear and nourishing
anti-aging
conditioners. These maintain elasticity of soft plastics ( vinyl,
hypalon,
rubber) and restore depth and shine to dark-colored gelcoat. The
conditioners
also prevents deterioration and discoloration of underlying material
caused
by UV oxidation and by growth of mildew or algae. Our latest version,
enhances the the depth and brightness of any color (but SEA
GLOW™ is
best for white or most bright colors or clear plastics and
synthetic rubber). NEUTRAL CLEAR™

SEA
GLOW™ Cleansing Lotion & Conditioner
Seeing
is
believing! This
product restores intense whiteness to aged white plastics that have
become
yellowed. Non-"earthtone" (blue red, orange, yellow etc.) colors
become
luminously bright - they will literally appear to glow! All this
with the same oxidation removal and anti-aging conditioners of the NEUTRAL CLEAR™ product. The strong
fluorescing agents exert
further
UV protection (protects against fading) by diverting UV energy
into
the harmless visible light spectrum. It is the ONLY product that can
prevent and reverse the deep yellowing of clear plastics and rubber. We

SILKENSEAL™
"Plastic Skin" Protectant
This soft
flexible
surface sealant stops the aging process of gelcoat, hypalon, vinyl and
related plastics when used after our Cleanser/ Conditioners (above). By
sealing the pores, It
prevents penetration of the surface by water and airborne grime and
mildew spores. It
also
neutralizes any stickiness of freshly cleaned older vinyl and greatly
delays
onset or return of vinyl gumminess. Can also be used for "quick shine"
touch up of any waxed surface including that of our own SIMPLY
BRILLIANT

SIMPLY
BRILLIANT Superwax™ ("SB Superwax™")
One
or two coats of this product, wiped on with paper towel or cloth,
produces
a mirror finish with no buffing
or need for multiple coats or special applicators. The
surface will
not crack, peel, become yellow or become brittle (as for "wipe-on"
acrylic coatings such as Poliglow™ or Vertglass™). Furthermore,
the surface is "repairable" and maintained by wiping over, then light
buffing with a
moistened chamois
cloth - this includes water mark removal. Unlike conventional waxes all
of
the applied material is used in forming the durable synthetic wax/resin
coating (not removed on a buffing pad).
This resin-based coating contains small amounts of colloidal synthetic
wax particles to help seal and weatherproof the surface of older
gelcoat. Protection of the
underlying gelcoat is very prolonged, with water beading for up to 3
years.
Anti-oxidant and fluorescent additives in the product help
protect the underlying surface against oxidation and color
fade.
After first using our Cleanser/Conditioners
(above) or ELIXIR™ the SB Superwax™ coating
will prevent return of chalkiness for up to a
year (dark colors) or
more (light colors), provided that minimal maintenance procedures are
employed

MIRROR HARD Superglaze™
("MH Superglaze™")
This
product is specially
formulated for the protection of NEW
(or almost
new) GELCOAT, painted surfaces, metal, chrome, sandblasted or polished
metal, anodized aluminum, semi-hard plastics and more. It is also used with ELIXIR™ in
our new "Hawaiian
2-Step" restoration procedure.
Evolved from our SB
Superwax™ product, MH Superglaze™
is a low viscosity pure resin coating, applied as a thin weatherproof
film
that has an astoundingly high gloss that can make surfaces look better
than new. The tough, shiny surface will not crack, yellow or peel. One
bottle
should
be enough for a 35 foot boat or several cars. ISLAND
GIRL Pink™ is recommended
for any precleaning,
followed by thorough water-rinse, then towelling dry to remove water
spots. On
anything but brand new surfaces, we now recommend our new ELIXIR™
product to remove oxidation and further protect against
oxidation and

GIRL NON-SKID SEALANT™
Apply
to "non-skid" gelcoat surface that is thoroughly clean and dry [we
recommend ISLAND
GIRL Pink™ for
precleaning]. Make sure that the
sealant is applied liberally on porous surfaces. Then spread it as far
as it will go and then wipe dry. When the dried coating is gently
rinsed with water, water beading will be apparent over a durable,
silken surface that is stain-resistant. Many people report
increased
grip under wet conditions. One 12 Oz bottle is usually enough for
a
30ft boat. A new use for this product is to coat the soles of
sports
shoes after using SEA
GLOW™ to remove/prevent yellowing. Again, It seals the

This two-part catalyzed carbogel

a flexible and water-removable "liquid masking tape". This will protect

SB
Catalyst™ & Blue Gel Catalyst™
SB Catalyst™
is a water-based solution of metal ions designed to to "kick off"
the most rapid setting component of our resin-based coatings
(principally SB
Superwax™ and MHSuperglaze™) so that the coated surface is
almost
instantly water repellant. The catalyst also corrects the pH of
the surface in
case acidic cleaners or acid rain had rendered the surface acidic. This
is important, since the major resin component of our resin-based
coatings requires neutral or alkaline pH to set properly.
Although we originally introduced SB Catalyst™ to
accelerate drying of these coatings in cooler conditions (below 70
degrees F) professional detailers like to use the catalyst on
older gelcoat, in order to get more consistent results with less
"soaking in" that can produce areas without much shine.
Typically, the catalyst is applied to the surface and wiped out as far
it will go and allowed to dry BEFORE application of the coating. Buy It!
Blue Gel
Catalyst™ is also water-based, but is more like a syrup.
This means that it can be daubed on vertical surfaces without running.
Then, when HAWAIIAN
BLUE
Masking Gel™ is
applied, it sets up to form a gelatinous barrier against airborne
contaminants such as paint overspray.
